Sierra Nevada Community Access Television (SNCAT) enables public, business, government and education communities to share their ideas, concerns and creativity through the technology of today and tomorrow.
So, you want to use our gear...
1. Attend a free orientation, held the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. and the third Monday of the month at 1 p.m., here at SNCAT.
2. Participate in one of our classes (see classes for schedules) to train you in how to use our equipment or facilities - and get certified.
3. Schedule camera equipment and media lab (up to a month in advance) or the studio (at least a week in advance).
4. Take good care of our camera and computer equipment when you use them. You are responsible for any damage or repairs. We recommend you provide your own storage media for your video files, as we are not responsible for any lost or damaged files left on the Media Lab hard drives.
5. Fill out and sign a programming contract with Sarah at the front desk.
6. Provide your program(s) on VHS, DVD or a thumb drive, when you're done.
